  • Is hypnosis safe? What if I get stuck in hypnosis?
Hypnosis involves receiving helpful suggestions. It's not sleep, so you're fully aware during hypnosis. You can engage with and accept the suggestions that benefit you. You'll usually remember what happened in hypnosis. I'll teach you how to come out of hypnosis just in case of connection issue, but you can't get stuck – you're in control and can end it whenever you want.
  • Can anyone be hypnotized?
Yes, everyone can be hypnotized. All it takes is a positive mindset and motivation. It's a skill you can practice and master, much like riding a bicycle.
  • Is hypnotherapy similar to stage hypnosis?
Both use hypnotic techniques, but stage hypnosis is for entertainment, using sleight of hand tricks and social pressure. Hypnotherapy, on the other hand, aims to help individuals make positive changes and is used for psychological treatment.
  • Do you accept child and teenage clients?
While hypnotherapy can benefit young clients, I'm currently not qualified to work with children and teenagers. Please ensure you are at least 18 years old to sign up for my services.
  • Do you do past-life regression hypnosis?
I focus on clinical hypnotherapy, so I don't offer past-life regression, which leans more towards the spiritual side.
  • What happens during a session?
The first session is 90 minutes. We'll spend the first half asking questions and discussing your issue. Hypnosis is introduced in the later part. In subsequent 60 minutes sessions, we'll spend 15 minutes debriefing and examining how your thoughts, behaviors, and feelings affect the issue. Then, we'll spend 30 minutes working in hypnosis or using other methods. In the last 15 minutes, we'll reflect on the work we've done and plan what to do next.
  • What should I do to prepare for the first session?
Before the initial session, a welcome pack will be sent to your email, which includes the therapy contract and health questionnaires. Please carefully read, sign, and submit the contract. The health questionnaires take only 15 minutes to complete, so please ensure they are finished at least half a day before the first session. Completing them on time will save us time to discuss more about yourself during the session. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding the above.
  • What is my role during treatment? What do I have to do?
Therapy is a team effort. Your open attitude and active participation are important. The more you engage in therapy, the better the outcome. I'm your guide, providing a safe, non-judgmental space and the tools you need. Regularly practicing the skills we discuss helps you manage and take control of your issue better. At the start of the session, you will receive detailed information about the treatment plan and interventions. Feel free to inform me if any aspect is not suitable for you.
  • How many sessions are needed?
The number of sessions varies, but typically, 3 to 8 sessions are recommended. For more complex or long-standing issues, or when multiple concerns are involved, more sessions may be necessary.
  • Can I book a session with you even if I'm not based in the UK?
Yes, absolutely! I'm insured to work with clients worldwide. As long as you can speak and understand English (as it's my main language), I'm more than happy to work with you. My website should automatically convert the time zone and currency to your location. However, if it doesn't, please convert GMT time and GBP currency to match your location instead.
  • I'm not very tech-savvy. Can I book through you instead?
Of course! I can assist with booking and send you a payment link.
  • How can I cancel a session?
If you cancel at least 24 hours before the session, you'll receive a refund minus 2.5% cancellation fee. To cancel or reschedule, simply send me an email or message. If you can't cancel within that time frame, please let me know in advance so we can reschedule. Please note that rescheduling is possible only once.
  • Do you offer any other discounts?
Yes, I offer a discounted rate of £55 per session for NHS workers, students, and adults over 60. For more information, please reach out.
