Hypnotherapy for Self-Esteem

About

Self-esteem is how we view ourselves. And when it's low, we often view ourselves and our lives negatively. It can also influence how we allow others to treat us.

Low self-esteem involves aspects like our sense of identity, self-image, self-acceptance, feelings of competence and belonging. It also impacts our motivation and relationships, making it challenging to pursue goals and form healthy connections.

Common signs of low self-esteem may include:

  • Lacking confidence

  • Excessive concern about others' opinions

  • Struggling with assertiveness

  • Difficulty accepting compliments

  • Having a negative outlook on the future

  • Fear of failure and making mistakes

  • Not setting clear boundaries and being a people-pleaser

  • Engaging in negative self-talk

  • Constantly seeking approval or recognition

  • Suppressing your emotions

*As a part of my duty of care, I'm unable to take on clients who have ever had a medical practitioner or mental health professional diagnose them with any of the following, as these are not suitable for hypnotherapy: Epilepsy, Narcolepsy, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorder, Psychotic Episodes, Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, or those who have a history of severe self-harm or suicidal attempts. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please feel free to email me.

Please take a moment to consider:

  • Do you often blame yourself for everything?

  • Do you feel you don't deserve good things in life?

  • Do you see yourself as unlovable or flawed?

  • Do you think no one cares about your emotional needs?

  • Do you fear that relationships are fragile and you'll end up alone?

  • Do you feel alienated in social situations?

  • Do you believe you're not good enough?
