Hypnotherapy for Anxiety Disorders

About

Anxiety can show up in different forms, like general worry, panic attacks, or specific fears. Stress, on the other hand, happens when your brain or body faces pressure. Any situation that makes you feel tense or uneasy can cause it.

These feelings can include, but are not limited to:

  • Feeling tense, nervous, or unable to relax?

  • Having a sense of dread or fearing the worst?

  • Thinking others can see your anxiety and are looking at you?

  • Feeling like you can't stop worrying, fearing bad things might happen?

  • Worrying about anxiety itself, like when panic attacks might occur?

  • Feeling disconnected from your mind, body, or the world around you?

  • Worrying excessively about future events?

  • Going over a situation repeatedly in your mind?

  • Fearing you might be losing touch with reality?

*As a part of my duty of care, I'm unable to take on clients who have ever had a medical practitioner or mental health professional diagnose them with any of the following, as these are not suitable for hypnotherapy: Epilepsy, Narcolepsy, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorder, Psychotic Episodes, Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, or those who have a history of severe self-harm or suicidal attempts. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please feel free to email me.

Please take a moment to consider:

  • Have you stopped doing things you once loved?

  • Do you avoid social events, even with close friends and family?

  • Do you steer clear of situations that trigger these emotions?

  • Do you often feel overwhelmed and vulnerable?

  • Do you experience a sense of hopelessness?

  • Do you struggle with feelings of being out of control?

  • Do you blame yourself for struggling to cope?

  • Do you worry about appearing incompetent in your job?
